DAY 1
Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Dambulla
- Arrive at Colombo International Airport and meet your local guide.
- Proceed to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (open from 8:30 AM to 5:45 PM). Witness elephant feeding at 9:15 AM, 1:15 PM, 5:00 PM, and bathing from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
- Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO site with 157 Buddha statues and vibrant murals. (Entry not included)
- Check in at your hotel in Dambulla, enjoy dinner, and relax overnight.
DAY 2
Dambulla – Sigiriya – Kandy
- After breakfast, visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (The Lion Rock) – an ancient royal palace built on a 200-meter rock with breathtaking views.
- Continue to Kandy with a stop at Matale Spice Garden to learn about Sri Lanka's spices and their medicinal value.
- Visit Sri Muthumari Amman Temple, a colorful Hindu temple with Dravidian-style architecture.
- In Kandy, optionally attend the Kandy Cultural Show featuring traditional dance, fire acts, and drumming.
- Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a revered Buddhist temple built in 1595.
- Check into the hotel in Kandy, enjoy dinner, and overnight stay.
DAY 3
Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
- After breakfast, begin with a Kandy city tour – Upper Lake Drive, local market, Gem Museum, and Crafts Centre.
- Visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, a 147-acre garden known for orchids and palm avenues.
- En route to Nuwara Eliya, visit the Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple and witness the beauty of Ramboda Falls.
- Stop at Seetha Amman Temple, linked to Sita’s captivity during the Ramayana era.
- Explore the colonial charm of Nuwara Eliya, visit Queen Victoria Park (optional), and relax at Gregory Lake.
- Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Nuwara Eliya
DAY 4
Nuwara Eliya – Bentota
- After breakfast, head to Balapitiya for a scenic Boat Safari on the Madhu River, gliding past mangroves and temples.
- Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery and interact with baby turtles while learning about conservation.
- Reach Bentota and enjoy optional water sports like Jet Skiing, Banana Boat, and Tube Rides.
- Check into your beachside hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner, and overnight stay in Bentota.
DAY 5
Bentota – Colombo
- After breakfast, travel to Colombo for a City Tour covering Fort, Pettah Bazaar, Cinnamon Gardens, Independence Square, and the BMICH.
- Enjoy shopping at famous spots like One Galle Face, House of Fashion, ODEL, Barefoot, Cotton Collection, and more.
- Optional: Explore Colombo's nightlife with pubs, clubs, and live music venues.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo.
DAY 6
Departure – Colombo to Bengaluru
- After breakfast, free time for last-minute shopping (if time permits).
- Transfer to Colombo International Airport.
- Fly back to Bengaluru with cherished memories of Sri Lanka’s culture, nature, and heritage.
